Pretty Purple Hot Pepper 15 Seeds Detail
Can be used for edible landscaping. Leaves of these spreading but upright, avg. 2' plants are solid purple or variegated purple and green. The 3/4", rounded, glossy peppers are deep purple and ripen to yellow, orange, and finally scarlet. Each plant has mixed colors. Small, purple flowers. The pungent fruits may be used as a hot pepper seasoning. Original seeds for Pretty In Purple were sent to Johnny's by Dale McCorkindale, Flower & Garden Magazine. Ht. 18-24".

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!! Been without internet for nearly 10 weeks after moving house so sorry for the lack of videos recently, I now have a bit of a backlog to upload LOL. So here's the first of the vids, made last October / November! Numex Twilight, a variety created by the New Mexico State University (which has created the whole range of 'Numex' varieties), is a hybrid of the thai ornamental chilli. Pods start off purple, moving through orange and yellow to red when fully ripe. Taste wise this is not the best, had an initial salty taste with lots of bitter seeds, however this soon dies off and gave a good burn all round. I would recommend growing this variety purely for the way it looks, great as an ornamental plant for the windowsill. Will get on the case with doing some new vids soon!
